Jaupaci is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Goiás, located about 204 km from the state capital, Goiânia 12. The city has a total area of 527.103 km² and a population of 2,924 people 23.
The history of Jaupaci dates back to the late 1940s when João Paraíba, a gold prospector, arrived in the region with his wife and children. He began cultivating crops and raising animals, and the village started to grow.
