The Deputy Fernando Carli Filho (PSB-PR) caused a traffic accident on Thursday (05/07/2009) that resulted in the death of a 26-year-old young man.
This Wednesday, the family of Gilmar Rafael Souza Yared, who died in the collision, filed a request for the impeachment of the deputy, who is currently hospitalized at Albert Einstein Israeli Hospital.
According to a bulletin released by the hospital, Carli Filho suffered multiple fractures to his skull and face. According to the medical team, he is expected to undergo surgery to correct the bucco-facial deformity, and there is no estimated date for his discharge yet.
According to data from the Detran (Department of Traffic), the deputy's driver's license was suspended when the accident occurred. Carli Filho had 30 fines since 2003, 23 of which were for speeding.
