Michael Jackson had his eyes, eyebrows, mouth, and head tattooed, according to the autopsy findings revealed yesterday, October 1st.
The singer used tattoos as permanent makeup on his lips and eyeliner. On his head, Jackson also tattooed hair to disguise some thinning.
On his face and body, Michael had several scars caused by the multiple plastic surgeries he underwent throughout his life. The singer's skin showed a lack of pigmentation on his face, chest, and arms.
However, what was surprising was the singer's good health. According to the autopsy, Michael had a strong heart at the time of his death. "His health was optimal, with results within normal ranges," said Dr. Zeev Kain of the University of California.
Regarding his health, the report revealed only some anomalies in his lungs, which were dilated and had reduced capacity, and broken ribs caused by resuscitation attempts in the minutes preceding his death. Arthritis appeared to be Jackson's only ailment: the singer had this problem in his spine and in some of his finger joints.
The same report mentioned injection marks detected on his arms, knees, and ankles related to the medications the singer was taking. Michael had several medications in his body when he died, and according to the autopsy, four sedatives were mixed with an anesthetic (Propofol), a mixture that, according to some doctors, can put patients' health at risk.
No pills, illegal drugs, or alcohol were detected.
The full autopsy report has not yet been released, but in September it was announced that Michael Jackson's main cause of death was homicide due to intoxication with Propofol (the anesthetic mentioned above). (Source: Revista Portuguesa Activa activa.aeiou.pt)
