The elected federal deputy [[Francisco Everardo Oliveira Silva]], known as Tiririca, proved that he can read and write. This is a requirement of the Electoral Justice system to take a seat in the chamber. There was suspicion that Tiririca was illiterate, which would prevent him from being sworn in. He passed the test administered by the São Paulo Regional Electoral Court.
